Gesund, a reputable clinic established in 2005 by a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT), is seeking dedicated and licensed RMTs to join our growing team. We are strategically located in the south end of Yorkville, just minutes away from Yonge/Bloor, the main intersection in Toronto. Our prime location, surrounded by newly built condominiums, a large residential area, and commercial offices of global companies like Unilever, Leo Burnett, Manulife, and Rogers, is easily accessible to many residents and employees with extended health benefits. We also have the unique opportunity to serve hotel guests seeking wellness services, as we are located beside a large hotel without its own spa or massage services.

With a robust clientele base of over 5000 clients, we offer massage therapy and chiropractic services. Our well-equipped clinic setup provides an excellent platform for therapists to build a successful practice quickly. Job Details

• Job Type: Full-time/Part-time
• Salary: $66.00-$76.00 per hour
• Expected Hours: 10 – 30 per week
• Schedule: Evening shift, Monday to Friday and Weekends as needed
• Location: Downtown Toronto

Requirements

• Registered Massage Therapist: You must be an RMT in good standing with the CMTO and hold proof of a professional liability insurance policy.
• Skilled Practitioner: You should be able to provide deep-tissue massage treatments.

• Strong Communicator: You possess strong interpersonal and communication skills and can effectively interact with clients to understand their needs.

• Professional Demeanour: You present yourself professionally and can communicate confidently with customers and staff, maintaining a positive attitude.
• Committed: You are committed to building a practice and providing excellent service to clients.

Duties

Your responsibilities will include:

• Client Care: Perform professional massage therapy sessions for clients, assess their needs, and create personalized treatment plans.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records.
• Education: Educate clients on the benefits of regular massage therapy.
• Treatment Room Preparation: Prepare the treatment room for each session.
• Client Interaction: Greet the client, review intake (symptoms, medical history, treatment goals, consent, etc.), and bring the client to the treatment room.
• Treatment Planning: Create a treatment plan including a home exercise program after each session.
• Cleanliness: Clean the treatment room post-session and maintain a tidy workspace.
• Documentation: Document each session on JaneApp according to CMTO standards.
